Mural Unveiling Event
Over-scaled props of the mural's most important imagery allowed for symbolic emphasis and mural interaction.

A giant map of West Harlem created from recycled fabric memos allowed the attendees to place their Polaroid photographs onto the neighborhood's footprint. This action emphasized the embedding of their memories into West Harlem's history, and inspires the apprentices to look at the shapes and colors of their own communities as they move forward as art activists.

Every attendee received a gift created by the interns containing a thank you note for letting Gensler accompany CAW on their journey and mural themed tokens.
